Earleywood has secluded camping pitches located across the site in small open areas of woodland, making it perfect for traditional camping and patrol camps. Altar fires are available for use on site with no additional charge and wood available from the well stocked wood pile. Please note – no ground fires are permitted except in the campfire circle. When booking for camping, you will generally be allocated two adjoining pitches giving you plenty of space to spread out across. If you have a preference of pitch, please let us know. Where your booked numbers do not exceed pitch capacity but you require additional space, you will be charged £100 per additional set of pitches. Pitch 1 with its large parachute creating an undercover canopy is not currently bookable and is earmarked as a shared facility for all on site.

- Pitches 4 and 5 – 60 people
- Pitch 6 – 30 people
- Pitches 7 and 8 – 90 people
- Pitches 9 and 10 – 70 people
- Pitch 11 – 30 people
When making a booking, please make sure you select the pitches you wish to book. Where your booked numbers do not exceed pitch capacity but you require additional space, you will be charged £100 per additional set of pitches. For example: you’ve booked pitches 2&3 (pitch capacity is 50), your number of campers is 40 but you’d like the extra space of pitches 4&5, you will be charged the camping price per person per night plus £100 for the additional space.
When considering booking a camp at Earleywood, please make sure you have read our Site Rules and Site Information Booklet. The site only accepts Commercial bookings when there are no Scouting groups on site.
Earleywood does not accept bookings for campervans or motorhomes. Overnight private camping bookings for members of the public will only be accepted if there are no Scout/Guide/Youth Groups on site.
