Earleywood has 13 individual camp sites located across the site in small open areas of woodland. It is great for traditional camping and patrol camps. There are fire places on site and wood is available from the wood pile. There is also a water supply on site. The plan below shows the layout of the site with the arrangement of the individual sites.
The site is available to all Sections of the Scout Association, members of Girl Guiding and Duke of Edinburgh Award groups. The site is suitable for Patrol or small Troop camps and backwoods and survival activities. It is also available for day and evening activities.
The Ken Buckland Chapel is a quiet, peaceful place for groups to use for acts of worship and reflection during their stay.
Earleywood has a Campfire Circle so that groups can enjoy a good campfire together following a busy day in camp.
|We also have a new Shower Block - with hot showers - for use by
campers. This has been built as an extension to the existing outdoor
Toilet Block. It also provides 2 washing-up sinks.
jointly managed by
South Berkshire District Scouts and South East Berkshire District Scouts.
